Richard Louis ProennekeAt age 50 Dick Proenneke quit his job and moved into the wilderness of Alaska and built a log cabin using only hand tools. He lived many years in this cabin which eventually became Lake Clark National Park. Dick took pictures of his building the cabi, and kept a daily journal of his life, weather, wildlife and more.
