Rick HolbeckRick Holbeck , EdS, serves as the Executive Director of the Department of Online Teaching and Learning at Grand Canyon University, where he leads innovative initiatives to enhance digital education and support faculty development. Currently pursuing an EdD in Instructional Technology, Rick’s research focuses on the integration of generative AI in online teaching, exploring its potential for improving student engagement, personalization, and ethical considerations in digital instruction. His academic interests also encompass new models of faculty training, assessment, and educational innovation. Rick is passionate about developing future educational leaders and is a dedicated instructor of graduate and educational leadership courses.
