Rick WamerRick Wamer is an internationally renowned physical theatre artist, mime, choreographer, and director. Having dedicated much of his professional artist career to accessibility of the arts for everyone, he has been recognized for his contributions to ats integration education in K-12 schools throughout the U.S., and is a co-creator of Embody Learning(TM), an approach to arts integration using embodiment to access content knowledge and demonstrate learning. A published poet, he has also co-authored two books on arts integration practice, is recognized among 20th Century Mime artists and practitioners in From the Greek Mimes to Marcel Marceau and Beyond: Mimes, Actors, Pierrots and Clowns: A Chronicle of the Many Visages of Mime in the Theatre by Annette Bercut Lust, as well as being a recipient of several awards including The Buffalo Exchange 2015 Contributor to the Arts Award.
