As Staff Psychologist at a major teaching hospital, she established the first pain management program in a department of psychology in a general hospital in oronto. Later she was Chief Psychologist in a general hospital and provided treatment to patients in oncology, neurology, cardiology, family practice, and psychiatry. She maintained a private practice in Toronto from 1990 to 2022. Dr. Miller provided psychological assessment and treatment to individuals, couples, and families, who sought help for anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, pain management, stress management, grief, marital and parenting issues. She has attended court as an expert witness for personal injury and disability patients.
