Rob Da Bank

Rob Da Bank

Rob da Bank is a DJ and co-founder of the UK’s most acclaimed family festival, Camp Bestival. Over his extensive career he has been (among other things) a music journalist, a club promoter, a label boss, a music producer and now a wellness guru an meditation teacher. Rob was also a Radio One DJ for 12 years.

Along with his wife and artistic partner Josie, Rob launched Bestival in 2004 and was one of the first people to champion genres such as grime and dubstep on the festival scene. Camp Bestival was launched in 2008 and is known as the UK's ultimate family festival, having won Best Family Festival at the UK Festival Awards six times. Taking place over the summer holidays at Lulworth Castle on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, and now Weston Park, Shropshire, Camp Bestival combines an all-encompassing family festival experience with an action-packed camping holiday to create the ultimate Festi-Holiday!

When they’re not curating award-winning family festivals, Rob and Josie live on the Isle of Wight with their four sons. Rob and Josie have recently established Slow Motion Wellness – a site with luxury accommodation for cold water therapy retreats, meditation workshops, yoga (which Josie sometimes teaches) and more. Rob is a qualified meditation teacher with a huge passion for saunas, curating a pop up in Kings Cross this January for his Slow Motion Wellness Saunas.
