Schrab is a two-time Emmy award-winning writer and an accomplished director. Known for his visual style and comedic take on the horror and sci-fi genres, his work has been seen on Rick and Morty (Adult Swim), Creepshow (AMC/Shudder), and Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Return (Netflix). Schrab began his storytelling career when he wrote, illustrated, and published the comic book, SCUD: THE DISPOSABLE ASSASSIN. His action-packed series got the attention of Hollywood, which led him and then partner, Dan Harmon, to write the feature film Monster House (SONY), and the legendary unaired pilot Heat Vision & Jack (FOX), directed by Ben Stiller. Schrab branched out as a director, working on groundbreaking television such as The Sarah Silverman Program, Workaholics (Comedy Central) Community, Parks & Rec (NBC) and Creepshow (AMC/Shudder). Schrab and Harmon joined forces again in 2009, collaborating with Hugh Jackman on the opening for the 81st Academy Awards which led to him receiving his first Emmy.
