Robert D WebberThe Rev. Dr. Robert Duff Webster (1936-2015) was professor of New Testament at Lancaster Theological Seminary from 1973-1999 and taught religion at Bradley University from 1968-1973. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma, Perkins School of Thelogy with a Bachelor of Divinity, Yale Divinity School with a Master of Sacred Theology, and he received his PhD at Yale University. Webber was ordained in the United Church of Christ. An active volunteer in the Lancaster community, Webber was a board member of The Parish Resource Center and a founding member of Lancaster Interchurch Peace Witness. He traveled extensively through the Middle East and South Africa as part of his lifelong passion for peace and social justice.
