Robert DruceRobert Druce was born in 1929 and grew up in south west Essex before and during the Second World War. He had a long and successful career as teacher. In 1972 he moved to Holland and taught at Leiden University until his retirement in 1995. He wrote ad published throughout his life, and continued writing after retiring to Suffolk. He died in 2005.
