Robert Lewis RiegerRobert Lewis Rieger, born in 1943, Brooklyn, NY, has a lifetime of writing for children, but has only in recent years made serious effort to publish. The incentive to publish began when he joined the Temecula Valley Writers and Illustrators, a group hat brought together many local writers, publishers, editors, agents and artists. Mr. Rieger's works include short fictional stories and hundreds of rhymes, mostly unpublished. While his genre is mainly children's fiction, he has one work, a short story, that was written for adults and included in an anthology published by the Temecula group in 2024. The author has also written and publicly recited poetry for adults and composed over eighty songs with original melodies as well as lyrics. His first attempt at self-publishing was through Amazon KDP in 2023, with the author illustrating his own book. In 2024, he collaborated with Amanda Le, a local artist, to design the cover for his second effort, The Adventures of Eedee, Beedee, Tweedee and Deedee, to create all the many interior illustrations of it and to accomplish the necessary formatting for publication through IngramSpark in 2025.
