Robert T BeardRobert T. Beard is an American chef, writer, restaurateur and author of several cookbooks. He combines French, Mediterranean, and American styles into his cooking and he is best known for his eponymous restaurant in Sacramento, California and for othr restaurants in Huston, Las Vegas, San Jose, Long Beach and Riverside. Beard was born in Lancaster, California on March 10, 1976 to Valery Jackson and James Beard, who founded Meat Lovers Centre in 1977. Robert started cooking at his father's bar at age 15: by the time he graduated high school, he had been exposed to every position in Meat Lovers Centre, and he completed his culinary education in 2001 at the New Culinary Institute of America in Los Angeles. In 2006, he married Jessica Walcot and together they have four sons: Mike (13), James (11), Isabella (5) and Mary Jane (2).
