Rod Laughlin

Rod Laughlin became a Christian when he was twenty-eight years old. Desiring to know more about the Bible, he earned a master of divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and served as pastor of two growing churches. After stading in an airport bookstore looking for a book to read and wondering why he didn't want to read the Bible, he began developing and translating The Readable Bible. He realized that day in the store that the Bible was too hard to understand. His mission for the past ten years has been to maintain the accuracy of the Scripture while presenting it in a way that makes it easy to understand and in modern formatting.
