Roebuck RobertMy name is Robert Roebuck. I am now the Patient Representative at Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, in Knoxville, Tennessee. I started in 1988 as a rehab technician. In 1990, I started teaching transfer traiing and customer service. In 2004, I was diagnosed with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy. My career took a turn for health reasons, and I became the Patient Representative. In the past five years, I have added motivational speaking to my career goals. I have spoken to large groups of 400+ people from university students, to nurses, and to family support groups. I also do individual mentoring on a regular basis on my job. I would like to grow the motivational speaking aspect of my career primarily for medical personnel to improve their stress management, to encourage them to be happy, provide improved customer service, and generally to help people in life and relationship. I was married for nineteen years and have been divorced for five years. My ex-wife and I (We are good friends.), Karen, have two wonderful daughters together, we raised our nephew, and have three grandchildren. At this stage in my life, I am happy, content and enjoy every minute of every day. I know something about physical healing and have learned by experience the value and purpose of spiritual healing by correlating my encounters with the recovery of patients, and I have concluded that anyone can recover spiritually from anything!
