Roger BartlettRoger Bartlett is Emeritus Professor of Russian History in the School of Slavonic and East European Studies, UCL. After postgraduate studies in Oxford and Moscow, he taught at Keele University before moving to London, and has held visiting positions t Cornell, Harvard, Marburg, Nottingham, Paris (EHESS) and Riga. His publications range across the social, economic and cultural history of Imperial Russia.
