Roger E SlusherRoger E. Slusher, a native of the Lexington area, earned a master's degree in history from the University of Missouri-Columbia and taught social studies for 36 years. He and his wife, Sandy, have restored an 1840s house in Lexington, and he is now th president of the Santa Fe Trail Association and the director of the Lexington Historical Museum, which provided most of the images for this volume.
