Roland S JeffersonRoland S. Jefferson was born in Washington DC. The family moved to Los Angeles where he attended the University of Southern California and developed his interest in writing. He returned to Washington DC for graduate school at Howard University and thn spent two years in the U.S. Airforce. After military service he returned to Los Angeles where he penned his first novel, the now iconic political thriller The School on 103RD Street, chosen by the Los Angeles Times Book Review for inclusion in its Guide to Literary Los Angeles 2000.
