Roman Garba
Roman Garba is affiliated with the Nuclear Physics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences and the Institutes of Archaeology in Prague and Brno. He holds a PhD in Asian, African and Mediterranean Studies from the University of Naples LOrientale in Italy. He led the TSMO Expedition (Trilith Stone Monuments of Oman) and is currently heading the ARDUQ Project (Archaeological Landscape & Environmental Dynamics of Duqm and Nejd). Through fieldwork in Oman, Western Asia, Europe and East Africa, his research covers Arabian archaeology, the early human dispersals from Africa to Eurasia, and Quaternary dating methods.
