Rona Monique FrederickRona M. Frederick is an Independent Educational Consultant, who helps families find great schools for their children, as well as an Associate Professor of Education at The Catholic University of America. Dr. Rona spent the past twenty-five year focusng her teaching and research on issues of equity, curiculum and pedagogy, critical race theory, culturally responsive teaching, and urban education. She has also written over a dozen articles on culturally-responsive practice and exemplary teaching for children and families of African descent. She currently serves as a coordinator and alum of the Education Policy Fellowship Program (EPFP). She holds a B.A.in Psychology from Hampton University, an M.P.S. in Africana Studies from Cornell University, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on teacher education and equity from the University of Maryland, College Park.
