Ronald AllenRonald Allen grew up on the west coast of Vancouver Island. He was involved in the fishing and logging industries before moving on to a career in Corrections working with offenders all over British Columbia. The author has travelled extensively and mny of the adventures experienced by our heroes are similar to events encountered during his travels. The book's origin is loosely based on a childhood friend who died tragically in a storm off the norther tip of Vancouver Island.
