While executive director for the San Francisco Zoo, he taught sign language to a baby gorilla named Koko. His passion for flight led him to foun and head the Western Aerospace Museum, now known as the Oakland Aviation Museum. He was introduced to Horner while serving as the moderator of the Amelia Earhart Society. Reuther died in 2007 shortly after writing the foreword for this book. Read More Read Less
