Rosie Orr was a junior exhibitioner (piano) at the Guildhall School and holds a diploma in Graphic Design. She has been a brass-rubbing instructor, a nursery assistant and a students' landlady, as well as a piano teacher and coffee-bar manager. She is a member of the Oxford Writers' Circle and winner of the South Bank Show Poetry Competition. She lives in Oxford.
