Ross W. Prior

Professor Emeritus Ross W. Prior is the founding principal editor of the Journal of Applied Arts & Health, established in 2010. He is retained by the University of Wolverhampton in the United Kingdom. He is author of numerous publications icluding his books Teaching Actors: Knowledge Transfer in Actor Training (Intellect, 2012), Using Art as Research in Learning and Teaching: Multidisciplinary Approaches across the Arts (Intellect, 2018) and Applied Arts and Health: Building Bridges across Arts, Therapy, Health, Education, and Community (Intellect, 2022). Professor Prior is a member of the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) Peer Review College, fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health, member of the Australian College of Educators and principal fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
