S CollinsDr. S. Collins was born in Shreveport, LA and was, later, adopted by his mother's husband, who's deceased. His younger, only brother, Len, was murdered at the age of 20 and this changed his life forever. Dr. Collins majored in chemistry at Dillard Unversity. He went on to pursue his doctorate degree from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry and is a fellow at the International Academy of Dental Implantology. Dr. S. Collins has been a member of the National Dental Association (NDA) and the Student Competition for Advancing Dental Research & Application (SCADA). He is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Eta Omega chapter. He has practiced dentistry for over 20 years and grew his expertise by self-starting two thriving practices. Dr. Collins met and dated his wife while they were students at Dillard University. Although both of them were too young to commit at that time, they reconnected later in life. Today, they are happily married with two beautiful children. He and his family are active in their church, participating in weekly worship, Sunday School and Bible Study.
