He is the first Speech and Hearing professional to receive the prestigious CV Raman fellowship from UGC, Government of India as Visiting Scholar at Collee of Applied Health Sciences, Department of Speech & Hearing Science, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign under CV Raman fellowship, UGC, GOI, New Delhi (August, 2013 to July, 2014). Presently he is working as Professor and Head Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Academic coordinator and formerly worked as Head Department of Clinical Services, Speech-Language Pathology at AIISH, Mysore.
