Sally MontrucchioNext Step Service Dogs Founder, Sally Montrucchio CPDT-KA After training psychiatric service dogs for two years at Camp Pendleton's Wounded Warrior Battalion, as well as service dogs that served people with differing disabilities, Sally was compelledto focus on helping these American heroes whose courage and despair touched her deeply. In 2012 Sally Montrucchio founded Next Step Service Dogs, Inc. ("Next Step") to implement a new flagship program to serve military men and women who would benefit from the use of a service dog for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder ("PTSD"), Traumatic Brain Injury ("TBI"), and mobility challenges, and also for those military men and women who would benefit from a career training service dogs for their fellow warriors.
