Sally TierneyThe Garden Equation is Sally Tierney's first book and she has written it because she is passionate about helping people to get the most out of their gardens and outside living spaces. She has been a professional garden designer for the past 18 years nd has put her wealth of garden design and horticultural experience into this book. She has also won a Silver-Gilt Medal at the Chelsea Flower Show and several Gold Medals at the Harrogate Spring Flower Shows. She trained in horticulture and design at Askham Bryan College York and has a degree from the University of Leeds. After an apprenticeship with English Heritage, Sally started her own company, Yorkshire Garden Designer.
