Salman Ahmad

Dr. Salman Ahmad is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Islamic University of Science and Technology, Kashmir, J&K, India. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Electroics and Drives. His research interests include multiphase converter topologies, electric vehicle drivetrain systems, renewable energy integration, and advanced motor control strategies. He has authored and co-authored numerous research papers, book chapters, and technical articles in reputed international journals and conferences published by IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, and Wiley. Dr. Ahmad has supervised and continues to guide several undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. research projects in his areas of expertise and has successfully completed four research grants sponsored by various government agencies. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and an Associate Member of The Institution of Engineers (India).
