Sam CumingSam Cuming was born in Ireland and educated at Trinity College, Dublin, where he studied Classical Hebrew and Near Eastern Studies. As a teenager, he travelled across north Africa, following the overland trail through Afghanistan, India and Nepal. Helived in Colombia and Brazil from 1974 until 1999, when he returned to Europe, teaching English to immigrant children until retiring in 2010. Since then, Sam has lived in Providence.
