Sameena Maqbool Lone

Sameena Maqbool Lone is a biotechnology researcher with a strong focus on vegetable science, molecular biotechnology, and sustainable bioproduction. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Division of Vegetable Science, Sher-e- Kashmir Uiversity of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir, India. Her current work explores the modulation of inflammatory and oncogenic signalling pathways, positioning plant-derived compounds within the broader framework of translational cancer therapeutics. Her research interests include phytochemical science, molecular diversity analysis, and the application of plant resources for health-related innovation. She holds a number of patents and has co-authored several research papers and books.
