Sameer TiwariSameer Tiwari is a highly dedicated and established biological scientist with 16 years of research experience in diverse areas relevant to infectious diseases, and gastrointestinal disorders. After his master’s in microbiology, he learned molecular tchniques, research skills, and drug testing from nationally importance research institutions. He started his research career with a doctoral study focused on the role of mycobacterial kinases in pathogenicity. His postdoctoral work involves the role of autophagy in maintaining homeostasis in intestinal goblet cells, investigating virulence factors of mycoplasma infection in mammary glands, serving several prestigious institutions around the globe, such as CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, India; PGIMER Chandigarh, India; University of Calgary, Canada, and Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. Moreover, during the COVID-19 pandemic, he served as a scientist and founding member of a BSL2 laboratory and played a significant role in the SARS-Cov2 diagnosis from patient samples by RT-PCR.
