Sammy Savos
Sammy Savos is an illustrator, writer, and storyboard artist living in Massachusetts. She illustrated and co-authored The Girl Who Sang: A Holocaust Memoir of Hope and Survival, winner of the 2025 Sydney Taylor Book Awardand a Sibert Honor. She has also worked on shows at Cartoon Network, Titmouse Inc., and ShadowMachine. In her free time she makes Jewish folk art, collects stationery, and plays with her cat, Ophie.
