Samuel CarterSamuel Carter is the author of The Runner, a true story drawn from his own experiences as a teenager navigating homelessness, the streets of Kings Cross and the dangerous world of Sydney's underbelly. Having survived and rebuilt his life after circumtances that could easily have destroyed his future, Samuel now uses his story to explore the choices, influences and turning points that shape who we become. His work speaks especially to young people about resilience, identity, responsibility and the possibility of changing direction - even when life has already gone far off course. The Runner tells the story of where those choices led him and what it took to find a way forward. Read More Read Less
