Dr Sandeep has beengraduated from University of Calcutta in with Honours in Zoology, he has obtained Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics from All India Institute of Hygiene and Public Health, Master of Science in Zoology with specialization in Biochemical Genetics from Dayalbagh Educational Institute with distinction. In addition to this he also obtained Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Lincoln University College. He has completed PhD in Zoology from Vivekananda Institute of Medical Sciences (University of Calcutta) on Cytotoxicity. After completing PhD he pursued Post Doctoral Research in different projects on Hemoglobinopathies and Oral Cancer mutation. Associated in establishment of molecular diagnostics laboratory (Neon) at present under Desun Hospitals, Kolkata. Set Biotechnology laboratory at college in Hooghly, West Bengal under University of Burdwan. He has published more than 200 research papers (in reputed Scopus Web of Sc indexed journals and books, filed more than 15 patents, organized international conferences, and also edited books in Malaysia, Australia, India and USA. He is serving as Guest editor of different reputed Scopus indexed journals of Elsevier, Inderscience, Pertanika like publishers.
