Sanman ThapaSanman Thapa is an author, educator, and National Certified School Counselor whose work draws on lived experience of factory labor in 1990s Nepal. His debut nonfiction book, A Fight for a Cup of Chai, is rooted in child labor, loss, and hardship, andexamines dignity, endurance, and justice within informal industrial systems.Written from firsthand experience, the book offers a human-scale perspective on global labor history and is increasingly used in classroom discussions alongside units on industrialization and workers' rights.
