Santina A. Zanelli

Santina A. Zanelli, MD, FAAP is a Professor in the Division of Neonatology at the University of Virginia (UVa), where she is the Co-Director of the UVa Neuro-NICU program. Dr Zanelli is particularly interested in neurological disorders of the newbrn, outcomes and family centered care. Her most recent research focus is centered on early detection of cerebral palsy using machine learning and vital sign analytics techniques as well as studying links between the sensory environment of the NICU and risk of abnormal social behavioral development.
