Sara BoatmanSara Boatman, Ph.D. is Professor Emerita of Communication and retired Vice President for Student Life and Campus Community at Nebraska Wesleyan University, her alma mater. She taught in high school and college for 50 years and served in administrativ positions for 34 years. Her doctoral studies at the University of Nebraska were in organizational communication. She served as the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators Small College Coordinator and received that association's Outstanding Dean and Pillar of the Profession awards. She chaired the National Association for Campus Activities Board of Directors and received the first Sara Boatman Award for Outstanding Volunteerism.
