Saviela Edwards Thorne Growing up in South Carolina, this sweet tea loving young lady begin to show interest in becoming a writer at an early age only to be told she should consider another path by her grade school teacher. With her dreams shattered she moved on through lie lacking the confidence she needed to do what she always wanted to do. She graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor's degree in Communications in hopes that it would help rebuild her confidence in her writing ability. She attempted to write a spiritual guide book for young people after being inspired by so many young people around her seeking after God. Unfortunately, the book was not accepted by any publishing company and she gave up on writing. She married a strong Christian man of God who encouraged her to write again. It wasn't until they lost their first child due to an ectopic pregnancy that she picked up the pen and begin writing again. It became therapeutic for her. She sent this article in to an online magazine and it was immediately accepted. Her faith and hope was restored and as a result, she is publishing her first book, a collection of her articles from the past few years of her life.
