Scott FlemingScott Fleming is a high school environmental science teacher and adult swimming coach from Mandeville, Louisiana, where the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain feeds his love of water and the outdoors. He attended the United States Military Academy at est Point for two years before earning his degree in English from Tulane University. He has also thru-hiked some of America's most iconic long-distance trails, including the Appalachian Trail.
