Scott LowreyScott Lowrey, Ed.D. is an Elementary School Principal in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and Assistant Professor (Limited Duties) at Western University. He received Canada's Outstanding Principals (COP) recognition in 2005, the inaugural year of the progra, for initiatives relating to early literacy and the creation of a multi-generational continuum of community partnerships encompassing society's youngest to society's most senior. Scott is also an annual participant with the COP Academy (COPA) Executive Leadership Development Program (Rotman School of Management of the University of Toronto). Scott holds a doctorate in Educational Administration from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, and was nominated for the CASEA Thomas B. Greenfield Dissertation Award (Canadian Association for the Study of Educational Administration). The title of his dissertation was Canada's Outstanding Principals: A Mixed-Methods Investigation of Leadership Development, Transformational Leadership, and Principal Efficacy.
