Shafiq Morton

Shafiq Morton is an award-winning photo-journalist and radio presenter. Recipient of two Vodacom awards, he received the 2012 AWQAF award for his contribution to community media. In 2020, Imtiaz Sooliman and the Gift of the Givers – A Mercy toAll won the AfriCAN Awards. His radio show on Voice of the Cape has been nominated for the national MTN and Liberty Life Awards. Morton was voted amongst the 500 most influential Muslims in the world 2009-12 in the media category by the Royal Islamic Strategic Centre in Jordan.
