Sharon PollockBorn in 1936 in Fredricton, New Brunswick, Sharon Pollock has written over a dozen published stage plays. She moved to Alberta in 1966 and has been a major figure in Prairie and Canadian theatre ever since. Pollock has taught at the Univesity of Alberta, led the playwright<>s colony of Banff Centre for the Arts, and was the artistic director at Theatre Calgary and Theatre New Brunswick.
