Shelagh MillerShelagh Miller is an ECEC education consultant, RTO consultant, curriculum and training/assessment resource writer, and a trainer and assessor in ECEC and First Aid. Her extensive professional experience over 30 years includes: delivering earl childhood education and care seminars on behalf of the Early Childhood Education Council in Vietnam and Sri Lanka; working with large Hong Kong educator groups; managing transnational training programs; and teaching in Australia and South Africa. Her work with various cultures and education systems has given her a valuable insight into the plight of disadvantaged communities, and the many issues that face children from developing countries and low-income families.Shelagh is a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Assessor and has worked for the NSW Department of Education to assist in the upskilling of ECEC educators statewide. She is currently working through a Master of Educational Leadership (ECE) and holds the qualifications of Bachelor of Teaching (ECEC) (University of New England) and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40110. Shelagh also has training in counselling, neurolinguistic programming and advanced hypnotherapy. Having owned and directed a large 155-place preschool and baby service, a family day care service, and a large mobile arts and crafts teaching school, she has a vast knowledge of the daily workings of early childhood education.
