Author of books and articles on heritage law and economics, founder of an organization of preservation lawyers, she has been honored by scientific organizations. She held a post-doctorate fellowship at the Smithsonian Institution, was a trustee of the Heard Museum in Phoenix, AZ, and testified in congress.
