Simon Gandolfi
Simon Gandolfi was born in 1933. He was dispatched to Catholic boarding school aged six and to South Africa a year later as a war-time refugee.
He has travelled extensively and worked at various times as a rancher, soldier, crocoile hunter and yacht skipper.
