Simona SawhneySimona Sawhney teaches in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at IIT-Delhi and has been a senior co-editor of the journal Cultural Critique (University of Minnesota Press) for about a decade. She received her PhD in Comparaive Literature from the University of California, Irvine, and has previously taught at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and the University of Minnesota. She is the author of The Modernity of Sanskrit. She has published articles on Bhagat Singh and the Hindi writer Abdul Bismillah.
