Siyabonga MhlongoSiyabonga Mhlongo is a lecturer in the Department of Applied Information Systems at the University of Johannesburg. He holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Cape Town and is currently pursuing a doctoral qualification at te University of the Witwatersrand, specializing in Educational Information Technology. His primary interests are in information and communication technology for development (ICT4D), educating for the fourth industrial revolution (4IR) and the symbiotic relationship between education and technology in the classroom, primarily at a high school level. He is a member of the Institute of Information Technology Professionals South Africa (IITPSA), the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Education Society and the Association for Information Systems (AIS) amongst other professional organizations.
