Sohrab HossainDr Md. Sohrab Hossain is currently working as a Senior Lecturer in the Fundamental and Applied Sciences Department, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. Dr. Sohrab obtained his PhD in Environmental Technology from Universiti Sains Malaysia. He has expertis in supercritical fluids technology, hazardous waste management, wastewater treatment, and waste to biofuel production. One of his core research areas is developing a method for producing biofuels from waste materials, including food waste and sewage sludge. Dr. Sohrab has published over 100 research articles in high-impact indexed journals, book chapters, and presentations at international conferences. He has developed a method of sustainable solid waste management using supercritical fluid sterilization technology, which has been worldwide recognized by researchers.
