Soraya Radfield is an author of emotive suspense dramas. Her work blends fiction with a deep fascination for history, mystery, and the layered truths we carry.

Soraya grew up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and has since travelled, lived, and wored across many countries before finding her home in Australia. A later-in-life interest in ancient history, archaeology, and untold stories sparked an unexpected creative path. Though she studied Quantity Surveying and Construction Management, her natural curiosity and passion for understanding how the past shapes us, led her toward fiction.

Having journeyed multiple times through Turkey and other historically rich regions, Soraya found herself captivated by the emotional residue left in cities, ruins, and forgotten maps. A turning point came when she realised the research and reflections she'd been quietly collecting over the years had formed the bones of a novel. That novel became The Last Conversation.

Writing, she discovered, is as deeply satisfying as the research that fuels it. Through storytelling, Soraya explores memory, identity, and the fragile intersections of history and hope.
