Sorobea N BogonkoProf. Sorobea Nyachieo Bogonko, a distinguished Kenyan scholar, historian, educator and administrator, contributed significantly to the teaching and research of education in Kenya, with a special focus on education and development. He inspired many sudents, many of whom viewed him as an 'archive of knowledge' of the education sector in Kenya. Prof. Bogonko held teaching and research positions at the University of Nairobi, Kenyatta University, Maseno University and Kisii University. He served as the Principal of Maseno University College before it was chartered to become Maseno University.
