Stavroula KalogerasDr. Stavroula Kalogeras is a television and film professional with experience in marketing communications, film licensing, programming, and production. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Communication, a Master of Business Administration in Telecommuniations, a PhD in Media Culture and Society, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Research Training. In the United States, Kalogeras has worked for leading entertainment conglomerates, such as E! Entertainment Television, Paramount Pictures, and DirecTV. In 2001, TBWAChiatDay recruited her, and she relocated to Athens, Greece, to head up the company's television division. Kalogeras collaborated with two of the leading television networks in Greece - Mega Channel and Antenna TV - where she was responsible for creating their most successful branding campaigns. In Greece, Kalogeras has taught communication and media courses at The American College of Greece - Deree, and with New York College Group in conjunction with the State University of New York. Currently, she teaches courses in marketing, media, and communication studies with the Business College of Athens in conjunction with Plymouth University. In the USA, she teaches online graduate courses in the Department of Humanities at Tiffin University and the Knight School of Communication at Queens University of Charlotte. Kalogeras is fascinated by storytelling and the use of narratives in education. She believes storytelling has the potential to revolutionize education.
