Stephanie Goins

Having begun her career in psychology, Dr. Stephanie Goins is currently a professor, speaker, researcher and consultant on the prevention and aftercare of trafficked and exploited people. For more than 25 years, Dr. Goins has workd in program development, teaching, writing and research, focusing on issues concerning human trafficking, vulnerable children, well-being, and culture. She has spent a considerable time abroad, living and working in Africa, Europe, and the United States alongside her husband. Her doctoral work focused on processes of forgiveness as they related to reintegration for former child soldiers in Sierra Leone.
